Important Update
Hi, everybody! This is Hali. I just wanted to give everyone an update on things and stuff and make sure anyone who comes here isn't caught in the dark.
Before panic sets in: WE ARE NOT GOING ANYWHERE!
I promise, we're still in this 'til the wheels fall off! We're just no longer in this website.
Due to the economy sucking out loud (as Kibo would say) and various other factors both personal & professional, we're shutting down the website. Too expensive, too much mental bandwith to keep it regularly updated, and it does add stress where we don't need more of it.
All of our online presence will be through our Facebook, Instagram, Bluesky (when we remember we have one), and Discord.
We will continue to sell the books online and are working on print on demand options through our printer, as well as a few other things that we'll keep you updated on.
The part I'm sure everyone is wondering about since I'm saying all of this is the future of the books and what we're working on and how all of that is going. Well, it's going. It's slow-moving, but we are still moving forward. Now for progress announcements and some special reveals and peeks at what the future holds for us:

The part I'm sure everyone is wondering about since I'm saying all of this is the future of the books and what we're working on and how all of that is going. Well, it's going. - The Fools' Gambit: Part Two is up to 52 pages complete out of 100. (148 total for the entirety of The Fools' Gambit so far!) That's not where we wanted to be by this time, but we're still progressing and hoping the latter half of 2026 will be kinder to our art budget. The wheels move slow, but they move.
- RVC Presents: New Machines is still locked in production hell. We'll let you know when we get that unstuck and kicked into proper gear. I refuse to let this project die.
- RVC Presents: Anthocalypse I will be a collection of short stories following themes around the end of the world. It is still being planned. We know roughly what stories we want in it, but writing has not yet begun, nor have any art decisions.
- RVC Presents: There Will Be Sex, Take 1 will be a collection of R, NC-17, and X-rated short stories all dealing with sexual themes. It's in about the same place as Anthocalypse I. Still being planned, we know a solid half of the stories that will be in it, but it hasn't started production yet.
- RVC Presents: Bad Hand is planned to be a collection of western themed short stories and one that is very near and dear to Kibo's heart. We have four stories planned for it so far.
- Heatcliff the Mad Crusader is the great beast that slumbers and waits to awaken. We have something like 50 pages of line art done for the first book, planning is complete for multiple books, and writing & scripting is complete for at least two. We're hoping the first HtMC will be ready for Kickstarter by the end 2027, but it might be longer depending on how long inking & coloring takes. (It might also be much shorter, but I'd rather overestimate the deadline.)
- Full House of the Living Dead is an apocalyptic zombie comedy story that will be done entirely by Jon Jones. I've loved this story since I first read the script and I hope all of you will love it too. As of last check-in, Jones reported that line art was complete and he was inking the pages before coloring.
- ARC: Adventurous Robotic Chassis is a children's series designed to grow with the readers. It is in the conceptual stages while Evan works with some childcare professionals to get all the details and nuances down.
- The Day The Earth Paws'd is fully scripted and ready to go, it just needs art. A sweet little children's story about cats.
- War for Nothing is planned for four books and in the process of being scripted.
- Appalachian Sunshine is fully written and has entered the editing process. (I doubt I'll find much issue with this one.) After editing, this 70s grindhouse style horror will be ready to enter the art phase and deliver a little gratuitous terror to peoples' lives.
